rickyv: I pass Tartine every day on my way to work. Very often it’s rented out for film and photo shoots, which I suspect are more profitable for the place than selling a few coffees. Funny how there’s more money in people’s ideal of New York than actual New York. Oh, Tartine! Highly recommended on my trip to SF by @tien. Great coffee, delicious pastries (bread pudding, buttermilk scones, lemon cream tart, and a real sugar rush), great staff (beautiful, interesting women and cool bearded/mustached guys) make for incredibly fond memories of this place. This is Tartine NYC though not SF…
